Ingredients
- 2lb chicken breasts (fresh or frozen)
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 can green chilis
- 1 chopped jalapeño
- 1 Tablespoon chili powder
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, and drizzle the olive oil.
- Add in all of the remaining ingredients and stir slights to combine
- Cover the crock pot, and cook on low for 6-8 hours
- Remove cooked chicken from the crock pot and pull apart using two forks. Place pulled chicken back into the crock pot and stir together with the sauce.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 1 hour
- Drain excess liquid and serve.
