This Sparkling Strawberry Orange Lemonade is a perfectly refreshing summer drink. It is filled with the sweet and fresh flavors of oranges, strawberries, and lemons. It is easy to make, not too sweet, and not too tangy.
I’m the first one to admit that I do not tolerate the heat well. The recent heat wave has turned me into a complete baby – running around the house closing all the blinds, turning off lights, fanning myself with my hands and complaining about the heat.
I’m so bad about it that the heat begins to affect my mood, and for some reason, I start blaming the Husband for the heat. Because you know, he dictates the weather. I never realized that I was doing it, just that I was cranky because it was so darn hot. Then a few days ago he pointed it out to me and was 100% correct.
For the sake of our marriage, an air conditioner may be in our future. But for now, I’m just working hard to keep the conditions as tolerable as possible so I don’t turn into Frankenstein. I open the windows when it’s cold, close them when it’s hot, and most importantly, keep myself stocked with cold, refreshing drinks.
Drinks like this Sparkling Strawberry Orange Lemonade. This lemonade is so cold and refreshing, sweet, tangy and delicious. The addition of orange in the strawberry lemonade really helps round the flavor and curb any overly tart lemon flavor.
Instead, this is just sweet, a little bit tangy and perfect for a summer out on the patio. Or just for indoors if you find you need help being a nice human in the heat.
